I'm just lazy and have yet to take any pics of my handy-work. Probably because now that things are nice and painted, it is time to decorate. I'm having some problems there. I don't want to make too many holes in the walls, so I want to only hang what will go there permanently. So there currently aren't any holes in any walls, because I don't know what to put on the walls. I'm cheap and don't want to pay for crappy art I could probably do myself, but when it comes to doing it myself, I don't think I actually have the talent even to do the crappy art. Painting is hard, and expensive, and I haven't done it in a few years. As for the rest of the decorating- drapes, accessories, etc, I'm stuck buying one thing at a time for the sake of savings. This means everything is still fairly empty, and I'm stuck between being thrifty (which has won out most times) and trendy (which is often more expensive than I want). I also am striving to save (brian's money not mine) for a new couch. There are loooooots of other pieces of furniture we don't have, but I think a couch should be the next big purchase.

Steph I love the colors you picked. Your house looks amazing. Don't be scared to put holes in the walls - once you get going you wont be able to stop.
woah- I'm glad you ditched their awful wallpaper border that they had in the dining area. eek. If you have fairly light-weight items to hang, I recommend interlocking fasteners by 3M. They're cheap and removable and you don't have to put holes in the wall. I think I've seen them at walmart even.
