Sunday Pants

My mom made these pants and gave them to us when Brad was born and I have been waiting for six months to use them. Brad is finally big enough! And I was lucky enough that Brian's mom gave Brad the top and it matches perfectly!!! For some reason sunday outfits are very important to me.
I love his little sunday outfits. I fully believe that regardless of age, pjs are not appropriate attire for church. But I love love that he has an adorable white shirt to go with his pants. All he needs is one of those "future missionary" tags. Maybe we'll have to get one of those for when Nate gets home! (Just a few more months till Nate gets home from his mission!)

Our First Braves Game!

We had our first Braves experience this weekend. Much thanks to uncle Scott & aunt Meredith for providing the most awesome seats. We sat right on the third base-home plate line, like 20 rows back from the front. I literally sat looking down the stairs to see the home plate.
Bradley was so good. He loved watching the game, the people, the lights and hanging out with his family. He even tried to keep with baseball game tradition and eat a hot dog. Brian was holding both Brad and his hot dog when Bradley simply leaned over grabbed a handful of bun and shoved it in his mouth before anyone could stop him. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen because he has been so intent on getting his hands on mommy & daddy's food for the last few weeks. He finally got his hands on some! We let him gum on the piece he got in his mouth, but he isn't quite ready for such bigboy food. It was so cute.

Spring is here!

My best buddy Kyli called me and asked if she could drop off some taco bell for lunch. Duh. Yes you can come over. We ended up on a blanket under the blossoming trees. It was so relaxing. We let the kids run around (or roll around as the case may be) and play in the yard. It was so beautiful I had to grab my camera and take a few shots before the trees change.

Bradley was so cute and loved tumbling down the hill we were laying on. It was the first time he rolled from his back to his belly, but I know it doesn't count.

This is my fave pic because Porter was being a twerp and Kyli still has the "I love you despite your boyish ways" look on her face.
Who wouldn't be relaxed laying down and looking up at that for an hour or so?!

Totally chill.

Phases

I didn't understand the concept of going through phases till Bradley left the "infant" stage. Is it weird that while I was in the midst of it I was crazy, and didn't know how to cope or handle it, but now that it is gone I miss it?
I don't miss all of it. But I still miss his little infant face, his little infant hands. Growing up is such a good thing. I couldn't live in the infant stage forever, but I still miss it.

Luckily we have moved onto the bouncing stage. My parents gave us this bouncer for Christmas and I have been patiently waiting week by week till Bradley was old enough to use it. I'm pretty sure Brian could give tutorials in how to put together baby "junk," because this one only took an hour or so for him to do. (trust me that was way shorter than the swing!)
He can only reach with one foot at a time, but he loves it!

I think he really loves standing up and playing.
